How to Properly Care for Your Plastic Houseware

Most cabinet types, including metal, plastic laminate, painted wood, and vinyl cabinets, can be cleaned with a solution of dish soap liquid and warm water. This simple and mild solution is enough to get food smudges, dust, and mild grease build~up off of your cabinets. Rinse thoroughly with another clean cloth, before drying with a final cloth. Avoid using products that contain wax, silicone, ammonia, or bleach. Products containing these ingredients will damage the finish over time. It is also recommended that the humidity levels in the location remain between 40 and 50 percent. If it becomes drier than this you may find that the doors will shrink, joints may open up, and cracks may appear. If humidity levels return the joints mayor may not return to normal, however, cracks will not disappear on their own.

Solvent base finish:
